10K actual, have no clue what they will announce. The home games this year have not been great for the casual fan even if we were winning, which we weren’t. You can’t lose a majority of your home games and expect people to show up on Saturday. Add that it’s Thanksgiving week and hunting season, we will be lucky to have more than 10K. This team has done absolutely nothing to generate interest from a fan perspective, and that’s a fact. Die hard fan until my last breath, but it’s the truth.
And how is this any different than the last 3 years, with a few exceptions. Lackluster attendance and fan participation always has a reason, whether it be rain, hunting season, Thanksgiving, conflict with LSU, etc.
We can do this:

BTW....please note that in the 2nd qtr we were down 17-7 and facing a 4th and 5 deep in our own territory. Peace went for it! That's playing TO WIN vs. NOT TO LOSE.
Also note that QB Gene Johnson didn't do any of that wussy hook sliding when he ran the ball. He put his head down and fought for extra yards.
This Saturday is it fellows. Time to man up!
I wonder how many seats we could have sold this year with a cheap ticket promotion in certain sections. Would we rather have 10K empty unsold seats or perhaps 5K. Season ticket holders are gonna pay for better reserve seating but apart from the Miss State game we could have offered $10 seats in certain areas and especially for this weekend. The entire east side needs to be $10 this Saturday. Why not, we have nothing to lose. Empty seats arent paying the bills. Our AD may think this cheapens the product but the value of the product is determined by the consumer and what he/she is willing to pay. There may come a day when the demand will be so great that such promotions arent necessary; however, I have been attending games since the early 80s and I have yet to see a season where there wasnt enough routine empty seats to not sell at bargain prices.
Worst case scenario is we make more $. If we only sold 10K of the cheap seats for the entire year that's 100k more than if left empty. Dont know of too many companies with a total budget of 10-15 million that doesn't care about an extra 100k in revenue.
Our AD is a control freak with no marketing experience. The guy he hired to think for him has zero marketing experience. They are only concerned with large boosters and padding their resume for their next job. The whole #everloyalbe thing is bogus.
And no one in the athletic dept will address the low attendance issue. We have an AD that gives little sh*ts about growing the fanbase. He thinks he's doing well by squeezing more money from the core.
