Well, as part of Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day, they are offering a free drink and popcorn with ticket stub. Get there early. It's only for the first 100.

How will they monitor east/West side? I will not be insulted by participating in this offer. I am always there early enough to qualify. They may not have a 100 that ask as the West side will be deserted. We have seen our success in must win games against Southern Miss.

BTW....please note that in the 2nd qtr we were down 17-7 and facing a 4th and 5 deep in our own territory. Peace went for it! That's playing TO WIN vs. NOT TO LOSE.

Also note that QB Gene Johnson didn't do any of that wussy hook sliding when he ran the ball. He put his head down and fought for extra yards.

This Saturday is it fellows. Time to man up!

Those who are old enough will remember the fact that Gene Johnson started games in 1990 and 1991 but was often pulled when he began to struggle in favor of Sam Hughes. Sam often came in and provided instant offense and would finish out games. In the Colorado State game Sam came in, played well, but then began to struggle himself. Gene came back in the 4th quarter and finished CSU off.

What was most impressive about those teams was the fact that nobody sulked when they were pulled. Nobody cried to their teammates. Each of those guys knew their limitations, worked very hard to overcome them, and then worked together for the good of the team. An incredible group that we still talk about to this day!

I am hoping that's the way this teams goes out.

I’m in Springdale for Thanksgiving. I was told I could get a ticket to Arkansas-Missouri for $6 if I wanted to go.
