UTSA throws INT with 3:07 remaining. We run the ball twice and have 3rd & 8 at the 29. They blitz and J'Mar scampers for 25 yards to the . At that point, we could have taken a knee, but we run twice for a couple yards. On 3rd down with less than 12 seconds left, J'Mar scores on QB sneak.

If the back ups were in I wouldn't consider that running up the score, but we probably could have taken a knee. But, its not like Tech was making a huge effort to score.

The ESPN guys attempting to make something out of nothing. 24/7 talking heads leads to a lot of nonsense. Just getting some plays in for the back ups. Not like Tech was calling TOs and passing.

The whole point of bad beats is when teams cover the spread when the game ia already decided. It has nothing to do with sportsmanship

Bah... I moved to Iowa from San Antonio, and got to see the UTSA football fanbase up close a lot, and they are douches. At their games, they are like idiot LSU fans, except their team is usually awful. I've hated them since they started. Bowl or not, I just hope we beat the crap out of them every year. They're not our "rivals," exactly, but are just generally jerks that are way too big for their britches. Ironically, I met Larry Coker a few times randomly there (he lived near me, apparently) and he seemed pretty nice.

I was going to comment on the attendance thread, but can't so I'll put this here.

I'll be there with a 5 year old and an 8 year old. They've been good luck for the Bulldogs at a couple of bowls, hopefully that luck will continue tomorrow.

Don't try Champ967's tailgate. Our uppity AD ran him off after MANY years of family tailgating.

Ouachita Valley QB club will be just south of the pavillion. Come be and ask for Larry, Mike, or Ted. One of the three stooges will hook you up. Rule is you have to come back later even if you don't enjoy the fellowship.

There is a tailgate next to ours that has some really nice folks. Rhino, Dogtor Evil, and some others you'd enjoy meeting.
