    Texas RB to Transfer

This guy would really help in the redzone and we wouldn't lead the nation in FG attempts.

Texas running back Chris Warren will transfer to another school for his senior year. Warren announced the move in a statement issued Monday by the school. He scored a team-high eight touchdowns for Texas (6-6) this season. Warren ran for 314 yards this season, with 166 coming in a victory over San Jose State. But his role dramatically decreased by the third game and the 250-pound back was seldom used in key situations the rest of the season. Warren switched to a hybrid running back-tight end position and had two catches with one touchdown in the final two games. Warren averaged over 5 yards per carry and rushed for 1,150 yards over the past three seasons. He ran for 276 yards against Texas Tech as a freshman in 2015, but his 2016 season was cut short by a knee injury after four games.

Saw where Michigan's QB was not playing his senior year at Michigan and is looking for a place to play his senior year. I wish Skip was open to that opportunity.

If you are talking about O'Korn- PLEASE NO, he was terrible at Houston and worse at Michigan. He is trending down and never had much of a ceiling.

The QB leaving was Speigth. I wish Holtz would look at getting an experienced QB to get us out of this hole. I am afraid what he was rolling out there every Saturday this year is not going to be any better next year. Folks had written off the other 5th year QBs we brought in and we seem to have had good luck with them. If we would of had one of them this year, we probably would not be having this discussion now. Had a great home schedule in a pitiful conference and pissed it away.

Have you seen how bad that QB is? That's why he is leaving.

I agree. For somebody to say Coach Holtz should be fired is asinine. Honestly, we're very fortunate to have him.

IMH0 Nate,Westin,or Elijah are better and have time in the system and can make more than a one year contribution. P5 does not mean they are automatically better than what we have. If Skip thinks he's the answer , I will trust his evaluation.

If Speigth couldn't beat out O'Korn then I'll pass.

Maybe a month off of game prep and extra practices will give J Mar the time he needs to take the next step. Hopefully he will have a huge bowl game and become a "rock star" next year.

We all hope this is true! But, still holding my breath that we get into a bowl. Glad to see Ferris back and Ferguson looking like the Ferguson of old.

The things he is missing can't be learned from practice. He lacks instinct and touch.

I believe having a healthy Ferris caused one on one blocking on a healthy Furguson. They dominated, but we need to keep in mind who the OC was for UTSA. He was feeding them all night.
