I sincerely hope our athletic administration has done all it can to lobby for a spot for this team. For three consecutive years, we have traveled well to bowl games. Even though we lost a number of games this year, we were competitive in every game except two.

Just really feels gross waiting.

So, what's the holdup on these bowl announcements anyway? With only the CUSA championship game (UNT vs FAU) remaining to be played, we should already know where everyone's going. I doubt FAU (East) and UNT (West) are competing for the same bowl anyway. Why can't CUSA go ahead and announce the other 7 or 8 bowl teams and destinations?

Because they can't know yet. The 4 in the play-off set the tone for how many P5s won't fill their slots.
