This is the end of the 4A championship game between Warren and Arkadelphia today in LR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08ozChirCAw&t=3s Somebody from the Warren side of the field ran on to the field with about 5 seconds on the clock and Warren had no timeouts left.
Refs really lost control of that one. Wow!
I watched those last two plays and blame the Warren QB, or the coaches for having that lousy QB out there. Bone head!
As for the zebras....well, they interject themselves far too often in deciding outcomes of games. And that has been true forever.

#13 who's lined up at QB is a junior that plays RB, WR and QB and already has offers from several sec schools. The only thing the refs could have done to be fair to both teams would have been to let the play continue with the idiot on the field. Warren did not have enough time to get their kicker on the field and try the FG. The Warren QB tried to get out of bounds or score on the previous play, but, the Arkadelphia player tackled him in bounds. Would it have been fair to Arkadelphia to let Warren try the field goal from the 8 after they didn't have time to try it on the play before, which would have been the game ending play. Warren could have made the field goal and the Arkadelphia coach would have been as pissed off as the Warren coach was, because, it was a Warren fan that gave Warren the chance to kick the field goal.
My wife is a Arkadelphia grad so she is happy. As so many of you know, if my wife is happy then I don't need a ref or a fan to change that situation. GO BADGERS!

You can tell that guy loves his players. Not sure how you call a penalty there. How can you guarantee it’s not some random fan from the other school posing? Not likely, I know, but all you need is a shred of doubt in order to not make that call.
That Arkadelphia CB made the play of the game when he kept Burks from getting out of bounds. If Burks gets out of bounds it stops the clock, Warren has time enough to kick the FG. The only way Warren gets a chance to kick the FG is if the clock stops and they get their FG kicker lined up to kick it. So, is it fair to Arkadelphia if a Warren fan runs on the field and stops the clock. I think the referee called it right. They should have kept running the clock. There was only 3 seconds left when the ref blew his whistle.
If the qb had been under center and taken the snap and spiked it before the ref blew the whistle, they would have had an opportunity to kick it. Lining up in the shotgun cost them.
As others have stated, how can the officials know for certain it was a Warren fan? It would be one thing if the game was being played at Warren and the home team was responsible for security, but it wasn't. It was at a neutral site.
PW is correct. The officiating crew simply made up a rule and penalty they thought was appropriate given the situation.
