Such a dominating performance by Tech in our bowl win over SMU goes a long way in salvaging one of the most frustrating seasons I can remember. The fact that we've managed to win four bowl games in four years helps a little too.

The headscratcher for me is Skip no doubt prepares well for the bowl games. So, when he has extra time to study opponent and prepare team...seems he's got the hang of it during bowl season. However, the flip side seems to be true when we have the extra time of bye week during regular season. I know this isn't completely apples to apples comparison, but it isn't apples to cucumbers, either. Skip is an enigma.

Very, very nice outing by the Dawgs Defense last night.

Haven't seen LA Tech administer a postseason beatdown like that since the 1-AA playoff game when we routed Jerry Rice's team that averaged 80+ yards per game. That was an "opening bell TKO" performance by The Dawgs. Simply brutal!

The second half of the N.O. Bowl was a bad beat down that rubber stamped our dominance over the cream of the Sunbelt.

Well, this game rubber stamped our dominance over the mediocre of the AAC. We were both 4-4 in our respective conferences, I believe, and both teams ended up 7-6.

Must have been using common core math.

We averaged having 10 players out per game? Do they realize red shirts would not have played anyway?
