His tweet shows a decided lack of seasoned judgment. If he's saying this kind of stuff in public, what is he saying in private? And, yes, I do consider him the staff member responsible for keeping our guys out of the training room and the whirlpool/ice bath. He failed at that job at least 70 times by the midpoint of the season; what was the final casualty count?
I haven't read Hester's tweet and don't plan to. Just want to vent about a personal gripe. I've listened to people in our society complain about coach-speak, and then want someone punished because they express their opinion, so you can't really blame a coach for using the same trite phrases over and over, like "we just want to get better every day". It's hard to express true feelings and facts without hurting someone's feelings in our society. What ever happened to free speech? I guess it went away with electronic media.
He said in at least one interview earlier in the year that his S&C program is responsible for putting so many of our players in the NFL and so many of our recent players going to the NFL is why people now know about EllAyeTech.
Yeah, we are lucky to have him.
y'all need to give hester a break. he seems to have a knack for getting the players motivated. if he is using the "prove the fake fans wrong" motivation, i don't see why anyone would need to be offended by that. maybe he should motivate the players to fight to give the emotionally fragile fans a safe space?
Did Coach Hester hurt y’all’s feelings?
