That was the biggest liability of our 2017 offense. I have no problem with him playing either sport, but Tech's STARTING QB needs to be ALL IN for his offense. Just showing up for 15 spring practice days is WOEFULLY INSUFFICIENT for the QB and the receivers who need to catch the starting QB's passes every day, not just at practice and not just passes from any QB.
Every QB since Holtz has been here has worked out with the WRs during practice, after practice,... Look it up PD. Playing baseball definitely hurt J'Mar's development and the WRs'. I'll bet the coaches won't make that mistake again this coming Spring and our passing offense will 'magically' drastically improve.
He will learn how to throw a football? You look it up and show it to me. Our former QBs knew how to throw a football when they were 13.
WRs were not running bad routes when the ball was at their feet or 10 ft over their heads.
This excuse for JMar is worse than Holtz and our Strenth instructors excuse with the 70 injuries.
