So, how did LA Tech's mens BB program end up with so few seniors on this year's team? I know Stapleton transferred out, but did anyone else transfer? Did we have a really down recruiting year 4 years ago on Mike White's watch? Do we have an attrition problem? Where are the SENIORS that we need for leadership and experience?

I just want to know how we ended with a team of almost nothing but freshmen and sophomores? Don't get me wrong, they appear to be GOOD freshmen, but how does this happen? We have a leadership vacuum on this team.

Mike White's last recruiting class had 4 people. Stapleton and Dayon Griffin (averaging 9.5 ppg for UCF) transferred out. Boykins is our lone senior, and Joniah was granted a redshirt year b/c of his heart condition.

Omar Sherman was set to be a senior as well, and surely the most sorely missed of the bunch.

HD we also signed two JC players who have contributed zero, nada and appear to be flops. Curry has yet to see the floor even in practice I think due to an injury. McKinley does not appear to be a good signee if he can't play now, when will he? Recruiting and signing these two guys has me more concerned than anything else at this point. I guess we were just desperate for warm bodies.

The HS players we have signed appear to be talented good kids. We should have been on the search for a couple of D1 transfers instead of the two JC players we signed.

The jury is still out on Griffin's transfer, but it's obvious Stapleton made a bad decision. It makes me appreciate TMac's temporary block of his transfer. Tommy's reasoning was that Stapleton was receiving bad advice from an outside 3rd party (who was not advising with Stapleton's best interests in mind). Turns out Tommy was accurate in his assessment.

Yup, you right, boxer; I'd guess there was probably a bad decision involved here.

Probably not. But I find it remarkable how often football/basketball players that choose to transfer from Tech don't better their situations.
