We do nothing well
Worst bigs I’ve seen at Tech in 30 yrs
No offensive identity whatsoever

Meh. Nothing will change. I've reached a pretty complete apathy. Embrace the suck
I have resigned myself to what we are this season. Young and incomplete.
They were never going to win this game.
MUTS are legit. Very few weaknesses, and a coach that recruits and coaches well.
They are the favorites to win the tournament too.
I feel so strongly that a solid big man would have changed our fortunes in several previous seasons. Rebounding and the ability to run effective plays in the half court kill is. There are plenty of teams who play perimeter ball. But they pass a lot more and a lot better than us. And they have bigs who can rebound and kick it back out. Either MW and EK can’t recruit those players to Tech or they don’t want to because they don’t want to play that style.
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
Down just two at intermission, the Louisiana Tech men’s basketball team struggled on both ends of the floor in the second half which allowed Middle Tennessee to pull away in a final score of 72-57 on Thursday night inside the Murphy Center.

Our 7 ft center had 0 points and 2 rebounds. Amazing!! Our all-conference point guard had 1 assist.
Baseball starts soon....
I liked the defensive intensity in the 1st half. Our scoring wasn't there (in large part due to missed FTs).
Like most games, the home team got the calls. We got them last week vs. UTEP and MT got them last night. Even though MTSU only had a +2 margin in PF against, there were MANY more that should have been called against them (I KNOW I'M A HOMER).
My 10 year old even commented after we didn't get a call, that the refs would call something against us on the other end.
The announcers mentioned several times that we weren't getting calls in the lane. It was so bad in the first half that our bench got a technical after we got mauled going to the basket but no call. Luckily the MTSU player missed both free throws.
We need a BIG. Oliver Powell has been playing great, but at 6'8, he's at a disadvantage down low.
Bracey is a playmaker, but this year he seems to be more focused on scoring. Last year, he'd drive and pass to the open man.
I think MW knows exactly what he is doing.
