    Did Dooley lose to them?

Holtz has lost them as the worst team in C-USA two times.

The only two times he's beaten them, in 2013 and 2014, they had exactly 4 wins combined. Every other year when they have a team that even remotely knows where to line up and which way to run when handed the ball, they beat us. When it comes to Southern Miss, Holtz has a mental block that he can't overcome. It's like watching Coach Kline.

We were favored at home and on the road by double digits in 2015 and 2016. We were blown out by a HORRIBLE team both times. COYHCSH was out coached by a mile by a guy who hates Tech then a former SWAC HC.

Dooley lost the first home game like 13-12 or something. Dykes lost the hurricane game 19-17 there but did beat them the next two years when they were horrible. Holtz has not fared well vs usm.
