Not true. Trump and the GOP (many on TV today) want it released as it confirms and conforms to the Nunes memo. They just needed the security risks eliminated. The Nunes memo had zero risks.

Keep dreaming. Reality is that more and more revelations about the corrupt DC deep state keep coming out every single day. The Democrat's ship is no longer simply taking on water, it's beginning to list, and will soon begin the sink. The question now is only one of how many, and exactly which prominent Dems will be going down with the USS Obama/Hillary when it takes its death plunge. Then a truly new day dawn on America, one where liberty is once again cherished and protected by those who serve us in DC.

Sometimes the substance reveals aspects of the sources/methods. In this case, the questions raised by the Nunes memo relate directly to the reliability of the sources and the methods by which the departments gained their intel. Thus, to rebut the insinuations of the memo in the most complete and compelling way, you would want to provide as much detail as possible (assuming the details supported your contention).

In the case of the Nunes memo, the “details” were not supportive of the conclusions he wanted his audience to make and that is why he omitted them.

Essentially, this is republicans taking advantage of classification rules to serve their own political purposes and control the narrative.

It was never about complete transparency, which should be patently clear now between the gaping holes in the Nunes memo, Nunes’ own admissions after the release of the memo, and Trump’s “about face” on the issue of transparency vs national security (remember he was going to 100% release the Nunes memo before he even had read it).

Ok, but when this plays out and he gets boxed in and you say this was all just a Democrat trick, just remember they opposed release of the Nunes memo that set off this chain of events.

You also are conveniently forgetting that the Republicans say that the Nunes memo doesn’t support the conclusions that Trump keeps trying to draw from the memo.

It may not PROVE them (yet), but it certainly supports them. His wires were tapped.

    Stay tuned.

I see a lot of Battered Trump-Supporter Syndrome these days. Just keep believing in your man, he will eventually be redeemed. Starting to see why he identifies with women abusers.

I am convinced we will see plenty come out from both perspectives that will spur more doubt in our leaders on both sides. I am all for it, whatever the outcome. Let’s see how they really do things and how crooked these people actually are.

Also, the disclosure of the improper securing of a warrant is huge. Not telling the court who was funding the fake dossier was by far more misleading than anything Nunes could have put in his memo. A little off topic, but you brought up misleading information as a concern.
Except the court was notified of Steele’s political motivation. It was in a footnote and Nunes has since admitted as much.

Except you also said this “Wouldn’t it have been awesome if Trump had told FBI to redact sensitive info then release a blank document.”

That is kind of the opposite of transparency and letting everything come out.

Nunes took out any national security "details" on purpose. The Dem's memo didn't. What don't you understand? The "fix" was attempted by the deceitful Dems again but the "thinking" portion of our nation just isn't buying their lying BS anymore. Hence, very little play time traction in the news.

It's the beginning of the case unfolding before our eyes. Have you ever been in real court? Have you ever been a witness or a defendent?

That portion of the fix was on purpose by the Dems. Besides they can't afford for the real facts to "get out". Good luck because it's coming at them like a bullet train.

    Re: Release The Memo!

Just curious why the Grassley-Graham letter on the dossier isn't gaining more traction. Could it be that neither sides' narrative is particularly served by the contents?

    https://www.politico.com/magazine/st...es-memo-216956

One memorandum by Mr. Steele that was not published by Buzzfeed is dated October19, 2016. The report alleges REDACTED, as well as REDACTED. Mr. Steele's memorandum states that his company "received this report from REDACTED US State Department," that the report was the second in a series, and that the report wasinformation that came from a foreign sub-source who "is in touch with REDACTED, a contactof REDACTED, a friend of the Clintons, who passed it to REDACTED." It is troubling enoughthat the Clinton Campaign funded Mr. Steele's work, but that these Clinton associates werecontemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele allegations raises additional concerns about hiscredibility.
