Just wait til he finds out Mobile and Biloxi are closer to Moss Point, Heaven, than Ruston is to the culture shock of Shreveport or Monroe. And then his reaction next year when he discovers Mobile is not a small town.
Some people react to homesickness much more severely than others. It's usually a symptom underlying of anxiety issues. He'd have never gotten comfortable at Tech, and he will probably have trouble adjusting at South Alabama too.

No. I also don't recall seeing him in the Spring Game.
He was a preferred walk on. He reminded me of Boston Scott out of high school. A preferred walk on as well. He will probably be a better fit at Southeastern. He is a great young man, I', glad he is not giving up on the sport. He has a tremendous life story and he is still very young.
