Exactly. What difference will increasing the national debt by a few hundred more billion dollars make? Once one is bankrupt, how much he owes is irrelevant.

Y’all didn’t seem to care about the debt when Trump did his tax cut. Can y’all please make up your minds.

Rand Paul is probably the only one who deserves his own ultra conservative tribe, but he has no chance to be truly successful in the swamp.
I never said you were or were not tribal. I was talking about comparing the tribes instead of addressing actual statements/arguments and how that's fallacious. Bad arguments are bad arguments...no matter who makes them.

There has been a huuuge uptick in red herrings from “conservatives” since Trump became POTUS. Think that probably says something about the defensibility of his shenanigans.

I suppose the "bad argument" was about Trump's handling of the issues? I can't argue the bad handling. The WH admitted that. It's a no win, just as many of Trump's screw ups have been. Sorry I think the good he has done far out weighs the screw ups and especially when you consider where we'd be with Hillary in charge right now.

And the Socialist Dems didn't when Obama killed this country with tremendous debt for worthless projects, giving $$ to the Iranians and islamic countries and the enabled by choice here in the US.

Sorry but the Socialist and Marxist Dems own "red herrings". It's their only playbook. They always have and always will.

Even if true, it's about time the conservative party used the Socialist and Marxist Dems old dirty trick against them. And the silent majority will sit back and enjoy watching them finally getting a taste of the nasty smell and taste of the trail as the party and pack of Clinton/Obama/Pelosi/Byrd and IGore barks go quiet in the distant.

I don't like this 2019 budget, $1.2 trillion. That's beyond ridiculous. And Mulvaney's weak attempt to defend it by saying, "it's just a budget and doesn't mean all the money has to be spent..." [face palm] He must have just fallen off the turnip truck.

All the anti-Trump libtards who are so concerned about the tax cut can return theirs. All they have to do is write a check in that amount, made payable to the US Treasury. That will put several hundred $billion back in and help reduce the deficit/debt. I know no self-respecting anti-Trumper wants to keep any part of the Trump Tax Cut.

More importantly, if we (Americans, all of us) don't stand up to the big spenders, from both sides of the aisle, this country is doomed.

What did you expect from a guy that has run companies into bankruptcy 6 times?

He knows the loopholes the libs have created in the system to protect their own billionaire donors (Trump was one when younger before he found The Truth) very well and can help close them.

And the bankruptcy act was first implemented under a Republican - McKinley, who in addition to being famous for being assassinated was also famous for imposing a tariff to protect domestic manufacturing to protect them for foreign competition.

You will also remember that Trump wanted to change Denali back to Mt McKinley. Obviously Trump owes a “debt” of gratitude to that former president.
