I watched this live today. It was an incredible scene and I salute both those with true family connections to these tragedies with Trump, Pence and the ADM in the WH. All had their raw emotions on their sleeve putting forth their feelings and ideas as well as being incredible listeners. Amazing display of true grace and caring by all.

Can you see them doing the same after Benghazi or the numerous policemen killings around the country? Or any of the shootings during Obama's 8 years?

Shooting Survivor: CNN Gave Me "Scripted Question" After Denying Question About Armed Guards
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night's town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a "scripted question," quashing one he wrote himself. Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC shielded students while the school was under attack from the shooter, said he was going to ask about using veterans as armed security guards. (CNN response below.)
"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab told WPLG-TV.
CNN aired a town hall on the Florida school shooting with Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) that included NRA's Dana Loesch and Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel that was moderated by Jake Tapper. Students and parents asked questions about gun control and school safety.
"I expected to be able to ask my questions and give my opinion on my questions," Haab said.
"Colton Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC who shielded classmates in the midst of terror says he did not get to share his experience," WPLG's Janine Stanwood explained.
"Colton wrote questions about school safety, suggested using veterans as armed school security guards but claims CNN wanted him to ask a scripted question instead so he decided not to go," Stanwood reported.
"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab said. "I don't think that it's going get anything accomplished. It's not gonna ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have."
UPDATE: CNN released the following statement Thursday morning:

NRA's LaPierre warns conservatives of 'socialist state'

National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre on Thursday warned conservatives that socialists are smearing gun rights advocates and seeking to eliminate their rights.
“Socialism is a movement that loves a smear. Racists, misogynists, sexists, xenophobe and more. These are the weapons and vitriol these character assassinations permanently hang on their targets because socialism feeds off manipulated victims,” LaPierre told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
LaPierre claimed "European socialists” are taking over the Democratic Party. He also named the “Occupy” movement, Black Lives Matter and Antifa as examples of social groups that he claimed promote “uncivil discourse” and aim to "eliminate due process."
“The elimination of due process is the very gold standard of the socialist state,” he said.
LaPierre’s remarks come as gun control advocates, Democratic lawmakers and some Republicans have called for legislation to curb gun violence in the wake of a shooting last week at a Florida high school that left 17 dead and several others wounded. Some Republicans have cautioned against moving too quickly on legislation as a reaction to the incident.
Earlier in his speech at CPAC, LaPierre called proposals to limit the amount of weapons available to Americans “completely ridiculous,” and said more security would help prevent future school shootings.
President Trump on Thursday morning tweeted that he will push for comprehensive background checks “with an emphasis on mental health,” and has said he supports raising the age requirement to purchase a weapon.
