I have the bulldog with a red background on my front license plate and yall wouldn't believe the compliments I've had on it. Far more than others, and I've had a few.

Have you considered those Dogs?
Hmm. Below is the entire 4th verse of the Star Spangled Banner. Please tell us what is racist about this verse? Inquiring minds really want to know.
O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
The third stanza is the controversial one...not the 4th:
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore,
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a Country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
I still like the bulldog logo in question.
3rd vs was referring to the guys they were fighting against. Slaves hired and/or made to fight for the enemy.
There's nothing racist in the 3rd verse either.
And no, I won't waste my time giving you dolts the TRUE historic facts either. You'll just put your hands over your eyes and shout to yourself "I don't want the truth, man. I want to advance a modern political agenda!"
Go ahead...
Why? Because is refers to "No refuge could save the hireling and slave from the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave"? That's a reach.
According to the verse, there was no place of refuge, for the hireling and slave to hide during the war invasion from the British.
Quite honestly, this just shows why you can't rely on other people's silly interpretations of something as simple as a song verse. Some people are just too uneducated to be trusted to interpret such.
Hirelings and slaves aside … the current national anthem is still weak.
O Canada is badass though. "The True North strong and free" -- that's good stuff right there.
Plus, they have free healthcare and weed.

Ain't nothing in life free, son.
Not so fast. The Prime Minster and senate just spent 18 months trying to change the lyrics to make it ... ahem... gender neutral. “True patriot love in all of thy sons command” to “in all of us command.”
When Chinese Democracy was released everyone got a free Dr. Pepper.
My wife had a kidney transplant last February. We waited less than two weeks when all was said and done. They try to prioritize them. Torn meniscus is one you would have to wait a while for.
Protection from what?
