That's supposed to represent two thumbs up.

Here''s a better one.
I am surprised and very happy about this. To end the year like that in the tournament and get in any tournament is great!
This was surprising and an awesome opportunity for post-season play!
The only teams I can find in common that we have played are Penn State and Little Rock. We won both those games and they lost both those games. That really says nothing, but worth noting.
Anyone see a way to watch the game online?
I wish I could make this game. Doubtful for this Thursday.
I remember the excitement when Spoon was coach and we hosted SMU in the WNIT. There was a resurgence of energy that night. Very good attendance too and a crowd that was into it. Many thought that that WNIT was a stepping stone back to national prominence for the Techsters. Didn't happen....
Now, here we are again. I hope there's a great crowd, an energized crowd, and that Brooke and the players actually step up and deliver. After that dismal performance in Frisco, they are due a good night.
Go Techsters! Win!
Only out-scored UNT by 5 points in the 2nd Half, and that only because they cooled off from the field. UNT did shoot lights-out from the line though. Nah, we got out-played by a mediocre team. No need to sugar-coat it. We sucked!
Now, I expect the team to bounce back, as they have done before. Follow a crappy performance by a great one. The most consistent thing about this team is its inconsistency.
We were down by 19 points in the 3rd quarter, but then came alive to pull within 4 - before having to foul. We would have won that game, if we had played a full game like we did when we cut the deficit. Not trying to sugar coat it, but Sweets and Malone were unstoppable for the last part of the 3rd and most of the 4th. Anyway, I TOTALLY agree with you that we need to follow that up with an outstanding performance. Inconsistency has been the hallmark of this team.
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
Louisiana Tech officials announced a 6:30 p.m. tip time for Thursday's first round WNIT match-up between the Lady Techsters and Missouri State at the Thomas Assembly Center.
