Maybe in the cozy little community of West Monroe-Monroe that is possible. And probably in Texas where every high school has its own state-of-the-art dome stadium!! But, not everywhere is it possible for high schools not to play on Saturday.

Sorry to pop your theory but NOT every Texas high school has its own state-of-the-art stadium, much less domed. I live in Kingwood. We are in the Humble Independent School District. The two high schools in Kingwood do not have football stadiums that the varsitys play in. Humble ISD has one stadium, called Turner, that the HISD teams rotate to play in. So, playing on Saturday is a must. The school district saves money by have only one large stadium that is shared.

In Caddo we have 7 teams sharing 3 stadiums - Lee Hedges, Independence & Northwood. Lots of Thursday night games around here. BTW & N Caddo have own stadium. It was worse before BTW & Fair Park merged.

    C. E. Byrd (LH)
    Southwood (LH & Indy)
    Huntington (Indy)
    Capt. Shreve (LH)
    Green Oaks (NW & Indy)
    Woodlawn (Indy)
    Northwood

yes I should've said high schools should play on Thursdays instead of Saturdays. I realize there is a shortage in south Louisiana and Shreveport.
