I guess my point was that is does not matter to enough fans to justify that salary. Add the other household salary and it it approaching what Holtz makes. All this for 1000 tickets per game.

I do agree the bang for the buck is certainly not there at this time. I was shocked at the extension without the performance to justify it. They will not build a fan base without winning. TECH WBB expect to win. Without it, they will not buy tickets or support the program.

Or they are taking advantage of the diehards. Those 1000 might be all you have but they'll never miss a game.

At least two very good recruiting classes from competing for CUSA titles. And maybe one weak class from trylng to avoid the cellar. This season WITH Malone and McLeod we barely finished 6th. (Had to finish 5-1 to tie for 6th even though we got the three seed.) We'll probably start four seniors this fall: Anthony, Staley, Cleaver, Whitney. Then what?

Meanwhile CUSA is trending upward. Next year WKU, UAB, MTSU, NTSU, Rice, Charlotte will be projected above us. USM usually splits with us, and this is with our team heavy on seniors. Gotta have a load of sophomores and freshman read to play major roles in two years. Good things I'm a sunshine pumper.

Love each of our Techsters, love Brooke, but we're on the edge.

Yes, I can honestly say, they don't put anything on the court that would make me drive from Benton, LA to watch unless I was going to Ruston anyway. I would love to see them recruit Emily Ward from Benton, and I would come watch her play- I am guessing she will have a better team to play on though than TECH.
