Yep, watched it last night. 95% of his completions and yards were screen or shuffle-passes. USM's WRs are very very good at YAC.
Almost none of his deep passes were accurate and the out patterns are just pick-6's waiting to happen.

He cannot make all of the throws. None of his deep passes were overthrown, they were ALL short, meaning he didn't led a receiver.

It's now very easy to see why J'mar won the QB job here.

Now, having said that, when Tech visits USM, we all know what will happen.

Yep, drop 8 into coverage and allow a 10 yard cushion.

Maybe so, but I have seen it on the CUSA board as well.

    Here is the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mzs-wYv0sU
The ball comes flying out of Abraham's hands for ULM's first TD. Then the mechanics on his INT at the 0:50 mark are just horrible (feet aren't set, he jumps in the air to make a weak throw into double coverage,...). That led to ULM's second TD and 14-7 lead. He will have to score a lot of points just to break even on giving away 14 points per game to the opponent.

Charlie Johnson or Jim Hart? Were Sonny Randall and John David Crowe the wide outs on that Cardinals team? Jackie Smith @ TE?

The USM faithful are very high on Abraham. They will tell you he's a good passer. On the CUSA board they are saying the recently re-instated Griggs is a terrible passer but a better "run option" QB.

I do think Abraham is a good finesse passer. But he seems weak with the ball to me, bump into him and he fumbles it.

Of course, Abraham seems weak to you because you have a stake in wanting him to fail. Nobody likes to admit they were wrong about a QB. Even you. Of course he's only played in two college games so far. I suspect he'll play much better once he's had 16 starts like J'Mar.

Idk why you guys insist on arguing over who’s worse. Abraham hasn’t been “impressive” and J’Mar wasn’t lighting it up in his first few starts either. Currently I’d still pick J’Mar over him, we’ll see if that changes as the season progresses.

I know....it's, "our QB is worse than yours! But, hah ha! yours sucks too!"
