CNN and others have definitely made a call not to normalize Trump’s erratic behavior and most reasonable people would agree that is the right editorial call. To do otherwise is to just expand the platform for the misinformation that is being spread.

Back in the '90's Colorado was over-run by folks fleeing California. It drastically changed Colorado. Yeah, CO was always left-leaning in many ways, but it was also, especially in the rural areas and small towns, largely moderate to conservative. Now, 30 years later, people are fleeing Colorado. Property values and taxes have skyrocketed and "normal" folks can no longer afford to live there. We bought 5 acres in Custer County back in 1992, paid $14,500 for it. Sold it a few years ago for $107,000, and could have gotten more except I wanted a quick sale and took the first quality offer. Property taxes had almost tripled over that time, and there was about to be some silly fees..."The Ecological Fund"..."The Best Use Fund." Friends who lived there, left, one now lives in Louisiana, the other in Texas.
Stupid Californians flee their socialist state, and for good reason, then often bring those same policies with them. Hope that doesn't happen to Texas.
Property taxes are way lower in Colorado than Texas.
