Game 1 is just like so many of the others this season...
Tech's pitcher looks good for about 4-5 innings then the other team figures him out and HAMMERS him. Miller was doing well with the game at 0-0 until the B4.
USM 4 - Tech 0 going to the 5th.
Now we can fold up the tent and talk about how disappointed we are that "we didn't evaluate pitches at a high level" and "our pitcher didn't have his best stuff".
why are we even bothered with game 1?

How did Bates get picked off of 1st base with a Tech base runner on 2nd?! That cost us 1 run Bates!!!
Cost us at least 1 run, maybe more... He/we are lucky that didn't cost us the game. No excuse to get picked off in that situation.
Thought Bates sleepwalking at 1st base was going to kill that rally, but it didn't.
Tech scores 7 runs in the 7th.
7th inning stretch.
That's the good news. The bad news is USM still has 9 outs left.
