Henderson: Primed to make a significant impact
Sayre Bedinger lists interesting reasons why former Louisiana Tech receiver Carlos Henderson “should be primed to make a significant impact” for the Denver Broncos following missing most of his rookie season last year due to a thumb injury.
He says that the number three receiver position is “up for grabs as the Broncos’ top reserves from last season are either gone or injured (Jordan Taylor),” and his “ability to make plays after the catch must be utilized in Denver’s offense this season.”
Bedinger concludes that “there is no reason Henderson should not thrive in his redshirt rookie season with the Broncos” now that he is past the mental “learning curve” of his rookie year in the “transition from college to the pros,” and that he “will be a major asset to the Broncos’ offense in 2018” if he can “play freely.”
