USL uses the proceeds of one scandal as hush money on the next scandal. In this way they run their own Ponzi scheme.

Nothing has come out of the "Federal probe", if there ever was one. The booster did lose a big civil lawsuit brought by his employer and the company won a judgment of something like $50-$70 million. The employer has asked that the booster's name be removed from the baseball field. He had given $5 million to ULL for the baseball renovations.

Sounds to me like they haven't done anything. Lots of "we could do this...or under this scenario...that thing 6 years ago was conceptual in nature I haven't studied that very much... it could be anywhere between 45-65 million....once we decide what we want to do then we can start actually fundraising..." Oooookay.

Typical shebip-shebop, bodabing-bodaboom. More power to 'em if they get it done but I won't be surprised if three years down the line we don't hear the same "new" deal stuff that's about to happen.

It is my understanding that if the forensics find any more missing, they will seek the return of all donations from the benefactors....
