At least we’ve been consistent. We sucked at hitting/pitching/fielding today. Looking at the forecast, thankfully this is probably the only game we play in this tournament.
We need A LOT OF OFFENSE and we need to create it NOW! We're being out hit 11-2.
It’s amazing how consistent Tech is in the ways their games play out. When they don’t score early when their chances are good the game effort goes flat and they limp to defeat with barely a whimper of effort. Case in point Huddleston striking out in the first inning with the bases loaded.
In other games when they get that hit and score they can get inspired and go on to big run performances and wins.
You can pretty much tell how the game is going to go by the 3rd inning.
You just summed up this season and last season.

Best thing may be that the Rice starter likely won't be able to continue since his pitch count is in the 80s through five innings.
Just lucky Tech isn't down by 10 or more with Rice having 14 runners LOB through six innings.
