    Budget deficit was 779B for 2018, up 17 percent from the year before. As mentioned in the other thread, the White House OMB has projected over 1 trillion for 2019.

    All of this with historically low unemployment. The tax cuts absolutely did not pay for themselves and as economic growth slows, this will only get worse.

    Will this be the legacy of the Baby Boomers?

    Trying really hard to tighten food stamp eligibility doesn’t remotely touch the deficit gap he created with his tax cuts.
