I have seen this logo used on social media by several recruits and “favorited” by our coaching staff. It’s a state T with the bulldog puppy attached to it. It’s far worse than a red T or the laTech logo, and should be addressed.

Not a fan of that bulldog head. We need to lose it entirely and focus on getting the state-T logo modernized.

My daughter-in-law commissioned a painting for me, as a Christmas gift. It's a close up of a very tough-looking, irate bulldog. The image covers from just above the eyes to it's chin, with a sharpened tooth protruding. It's done in shades of blue, with some black and gray for shading, on a mostly white background, and has part of a red collar in the lower left corner. No print. Nothing that reads "Tech."

I have it hanging proudly in my office. People come in and those who follow/care about sports will all say, "Go Tech!" or for the ones who don't like us, will say, "Oh yeah, you're one of those Tech guys..."

It's a pic of a bulldog. It could have been an UGA rendering, with the red collar, or more likely, non-sports' related. Maybe I just like the breed. Nothing on it says "Tech." BUT!!! people sure recognize it as "Tech."

When people say this, joking or serious, I think of something my grandfather used to say. He was a graduate of Penn St and Louisiana Tech. It never failed that the games he saw with us were against teams now in the belt. He would enjoy the game, but as we were leaving would ask, “who is ready to go home and turn on some big boy football.”

I feel like we have finally graduated from that level and don’t see any need to dip back down.

Its not a "new" logo that our University uses. I assume it was done by a fan or someone outside of the university that Photoshop'd it (which isn't hard to do).
