Love reading this stuff. You can bet our players won’t fly under the radar as often anymore.
They didn't really do their homework. They made it look like Dixon kept him on the bench and that he was FINALLY number one last year. They must not have talked to COYHCSH about what a great backup Scott was...
This is because Scott sat behind another legitimate NFL back in Kenneth Dixon, who is now with the Baltimore Ravens.
Scott accumulated 1,228 combined rushing and receiving yards (along with nine touchdowns) for the Bulldogs in 2018 once given an opportunity.
Not a good start. This is all I saw on him today...well this and he was in the punt return rotation with three other players.

Boston Scott drops an easy little drop off and it’s intercepted. Not a great look for the rookie. #SaintsCamp

Boston Scott muffed a punt

I think Scott is gonna do just fine with the Saints. This young man has overcome a lot to get to this point in his football career. He's not about to stop short of his goals. I also think he's in a great spot for his talents. Of course, that's the reason Sean Payton wanted him too. He's a very good fit for what the Saints do on offense.
Running backs (5): Alvin Kamara, Boston Scott, Trey Edmunds, Jonathan Williams, and Zach Line. Mark Ingram is not cut, but he is designated to the suspended list to start the year. Shane Vereen and Terrance West have some ability left to work with, but Scott has definitely outplayed them initially. And if the Saints keep either Vereen or West after roster cuts they’ll have to guarantee their season salary, which doesn’t make sense with Ingram returning after just four games. Edmunds has done well in pass protection drills but I’d still keep Williams around to compete
I've been keeping up with Boston Scott via Twitter. I've seen highlights of him each day so far. He's really showing his stuff and fans are loving it. The Saints are really using him in the passing game.
Damn you Skip Holtz, you didn't take full advantage of this talent!
