    Remember Johnny Manziel?

QB Johnny Manziel made his debut in the CFL last night for the Montreal Alouettes. But he threw 4 INTs and his team lost 11-50.

I watched most of it. Tch, tch...poor ole Johnny Football.

Best part of the telecast was Matt Dunigan's in-depth analysis, back in the studio. Dunigan looks like he could still play.

That 2012 game vs. Manziel and aTm was a classic. Could have been a little better....like 3 points better. But, still what an electric night. Funny thing I thought about that game as we drove by Indy Stadium yesterday. That was the last time we had a big name opponent in S'port. I would like to see another one. But, the opponent can't just be some P5. It would have to be an elite. And, I doubt that would happen. Otherwise, schedule P5s in Ruston, like we did Moo State last year.

Back to Manziel....whatever else one can say about him, there is no doubt his 2012 season, as a freshman, was phenomenal. Their win at Bama that year. And that night, again, say what you will, but that guy could play....college football...and he was exciting.

In college, Johnny Manziel was the fastest guy on the field EVERY WEEK. We all knew something was special about Manziel, when in the 3rd qtr he ran 70 yds downfield to tackle Tech LB Mike Schrang from behind to prevent what would have been the winning score for LA Tech on a returned fumble. Most QB's just don't care that much.

    Here's the play:

For anyone who doesn't think Manziel was the fastest guy on a college field, just watch him moving around in the pocket against LA Tech. He's another example. This is A&M's last score of the game. Keep Manziel boxed up ON THIS PLAY, (it was 3rd and 23 to go, with 2:14 left to play) and Tech wins this game. But, this happened......

Simply put, Manziel was just faster than everyone else. Sure glad he's gone now.

Here's his 4 picks in the CFL. Three of them are just horrendous- right in the defender's bread basket.
