Our division champs and conference champs have to show that they can hang with top 25 teams. If we feel like we are in that conversation we need to find a way to pull this out. We will need a few bounces which will be hard to come by playing against the refs.
The refs will probably be good for 10-14 points. If we are leading by less than 10 near the end of the game, Holtz will find a way to lose anyway. So we will need to be about 20-24 points better than they are if we want to win.

I would consider 19 for 27 with 4 TDs and the MVP of the BCS National Championship game to be good.

Why would we focus on the second game?

Don’t you know all our energy is connected somewhere out there in the atmosphere. If we all collectively have a good attitude then the team will. If we all doubt then the team will. It’s like scientific and stuff.

Alright, we have a big LSU fan amongst us. Good for you!

But...we still have a different definition of what makes for a good QB. Oh wait! you mean in comparison to all the truly crappy QBs they have had, Flynn was "good." Well, maybe, in that context.

I just watched the highlights of the game you referred to, the Ohio State game. Not impressed with Flynn. Managed the game okay. His TDs were to WIDE OPENED receivers. Pitch and catch. But, that's fine. If that impresses you....then...

LSU scrimmage yesterday: "It was a really rough day for the QBs statistically speaking. Burrow went 10-of-24 for 124 yards, one touchdown, and an interception. Brennan went 5-of-19 for 47 yards and an interception."
