Second series:
-First incompletion was the PI call. Not sure if it would've been complete. Had a man wide open underneath.
-Pass protection was fine in the first two series.
Third series:
-This is when their D turned up the pressure. J'Mar didn't protect the ball in one of the protection breakdowns, but Dancy recovered.
-Series ended with another protection breakdown.
-This was the series when we had the perfect punt, but couldn't cover it. The first of our special teams snafus.

Fourth series:
-Mainly ran this series. J'Mar got sacked on a 3rd and 4. Left guard struggled this series. On the sack, J'Mar probably should've stepped into the pocket quicker, but wasn't what I'd call a mistake.
-Series should've ended with a sack, but they facemasked J'Mar. I think Skip and J'Mar have tightened up at this point. Super predictable.
-Got into the end-zone on the ground.
-No passes attempted after the facemask.

Fifth Series:
-Missed Smith on a 2nd and 9 (off his fingers).
-Series ended when the right tackle got demolished. Smith had nowhere to go.
-Shanked punt...USA gets the ball inside their 35.
-USA scores on their next drive.
Sixth Series:
-OL had a lot of trouble handling the pressure this series.
-We tried to stretch the field a few plays, but the OL didn't give J'Mar much time.
-I only saw one miss this series.
-Bigger problem was not dealing well with pressure (this is the theme that's emerging).

7th series:
-Finally threw deep(er) and connected with Bonnette. That set up a run perfectly.
-TD to Bobby Holly ended the series.

1st Half observations:
-J'Mar didn't miss people the same way that he did last year (short arm...especially on swing passes and screens).
-Skip and J'Mar tense up when pressure comes. The clam up leads to slowness through the progressions and that leads to taking more sacks.
-When we stretch the field, our run game is dangerous. Our WR are BUILT to stretch the field.
I don't know if we went overly vanilla or what, but the first half was a decent one for J'Mar.
I'll catch the second half at some later time.

8th Series:
-Swing pass to start things off (3 yard gain)
-Good pass to Hardy (10 yard gain)
-Hardy on a deep slant (big gain)
-J'Mar scrambled and tried to dive into the end-zone (was not a fumble). Illegal sub on USA.
-Fumble on exchange with Tucker (can't tell from the video who's fault it was...looked like Smith didn't get it all the way in to Tucker's gut).
-Hardy scores if he doesn't bobble the catch.
-FG
This was J'Mar's best series of the game thus far IMO.

Speaking of Bobby Holley, is this the first time he has gotten PT since his first game fumble? (3 years ago?) I'm glad he is still with the team and hope he scores more for us this year.
Defense really softened up after Tech's 8th offensive series.
9th series:
-Tucker dropped a swing pass (didn't look like a bad throw)
-Bubble pass to Bonnette (pass was fine, the play just wasn't there...4 yard gain)
-Screen pass to Powell came up short on 3rd down.
-Punt
Time is your friend. Impulse is your enemy. -John Bogle
10th series:
-Speed option (6 yard gain)
-Tucker delayed hand-off 12 yards
-BAD int. J'Mar chased out of the pocket...should've taken the sack or thrown it into the stands.
USA throws the fanciest INT of the week
11th series:
-McKnight with a decent carry for 5 yards
-Tucker delayed hand-off 4 yard gain
-3rd and 1 play blown up in the back field.
-Tucker gets the first on a 4th and 1 play
-Toss play for nothing.
-Screen to Alfred Smith (4 yard gain) Bonnette's blocking could use some work.
-Third INT was a good play by USA, but J'Mar telegraphed his throw. CB jumped the route.

Looked to me like Tech came up with the fumble, but the refs gave it to USA.
Lot of arm tackling and going for the strip...sure tackling would've ended USA's drive. If they don't score on that drive, the game isn't nearly as close...several opportunities to stop the drive and couldn't do it.
12th series:
-Oh man...sideline girl is SOOOO country. It's good stuff. Does Alabama have a Bernice (is all of Alabama Bernice?)?
-Tucker big gain on an off-tackle (he's good)
-McKnight caught in the backfield...just don't know that he's fast enough for the type of runs we seem married to (this was Craft's problem too)
-Deep ball in single coverage, but Hardy and DB got tangled. Tough to tell the quality of the throw.
-Smith scrambles for the 1st on 3rd and 13. Still holding the ball weird.
-Pitch to Tucker for nothing
-Swing pass to Dancy for 5-6 yards.
-On 3rd and 7, good throw to Bonnette. Good catch...Looked like it was 15 yards or so.
-Screen to Bonnette for nothing.
-Quick toss to Dancy for 6 yards.
-Veal makes a great catch for 12 yard gain on a low throw.
-Tucker for 2 yards.
-Perfect pitch and catch to Hardy for the GW TD.
On the second watch, J'Mar had two really bad throws and both were picked off. He seems more accurate to me. The entire O runs better when it's playing loose. Take it for what it's worth.

Yea, it's MS Paint.... but it's Doc's unofficial Pass chart.
