The question is why would u b buying more. Simply contrarian? Because Kapernick’s position has never made since from a legal standpoint. He has no first amendment right to protest in his workplace.
And I say this from the perspective of one who has spent a career in support of ALL of our Constitutional Rights. I agree that police brutality CAN be an issue. I believe that our country has spent 40 years going down a dangerous road of militarizing the police and bringing in SWAT/Military tactics to the people who are supposed to protect and serve. I have challenged on an almost daily basis this mindset as a prosecutor, a defender and a Marine veteran for almost 30 years.
The cops aren’t the problem. There leadership is. The legacy of Darryl Gates is a stain on this country. There should not be a SWAT team serving warrants in every podunk village in this country.
But CK never had the right to bring his alleged frustrations into his workplace and damage his non-governmental employer’s business. He is a communist. He has no regard for a system that by and large protects the rights of the individuals.
His grevience may be just. His purpose questionable. His chosen forum.... he has no right.
Oh... and Roger Goodell is an idiot.

There was a time not too long ago when it was extremely rare for a reporter to use anonymous sources. Now it is more common than giving actual names, but it makes for much more drama.
Bottom line: Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Fair enough, but you also shouldn't automatically discredit everything you hear just becasue you don't like it.
