I don't necessarily think Kaep's protest is entirely accurate. He's correct that police violence and military glorification is out of control. I don't see that there's any particular animus towards blacks, but he's welcome to think that, and I could certainly be wrong. Protesting is literally the most American thing you can do. The vets who fought for our freedoms have been dead for 150 years, I have no way of knowing what they'd think.
I wear Nikes because my Hobbit feet are uncomfortable in NB. You all have the right to not wear them. But you also don't have to virtue-signal about it.
Kaep may well be wrong. But that doesn't make him some evil anti-American (as if his nationalism were even an indication of his morality).
For the record, I do think he's being a cry-baby about getting cut.
