Even if there is a testimony and they prove (what most everyone knows) that this is just a total stall tactic, there will be someone else make some sort of claim against him. This is nothing more than grasping at straws. Vote to confirm on Monday and get it over with.

I think there should be repercussions for people who make false accusations. Well, there is. The police can charge someone a misdemeanor for knowingly making false accusations, which they usually only do after repeated episodes. In this case, given the seriousness of the circumstances....a soon-to-be sitting justice on the Supreme Court... this Ford person, and Feinstein, all those slimy lawyers and anyone else involved in this farce should be charged and fined.
In fact, have federal marshals standing by when this beotch shows up, with the full understanding, unless you have tangible proof, something that would stand up in a court of law....like video, eyewitnesses, forensic evidence, like DNA, etc...you will be arrested and charged with fraud and wasting the good people of America's time and money.

Ya know what is tragic, is that Kavanaugh is actually the exact kind of justice Americans should want on the SC. Well, libs don't want someone who will follow the Constitution, they want someone who will make law from the bench. But it is very clear, from his track record, neither side can always count on him to rule their way. He has been consistent in applying the law, the precedents, and adhering to the Constitution.
The key issue, for his detractors, is Roe v. Wade. He has answered that question directly, clearly and the baby-killers should be pleased with his position. But, I suppose Roe is just a pretense, a hot-button that libs know stirs their base's emotions. And since their base is too stupid to understand Kavanaugh's position, they get riled up.
D80, you don’t give him enough credit. You have to remember that Kavanaugh can overturn Roe or anything else he wants by himself.

BUT! even if he had such power, I don't think he would. Not based on what he has said, and written about it, long before he ever thought he'd be considered for the SC. The one thing that we do know about Kavanaugh is he has consistently ruled in favor of the law and precedents, even when he personally might have disagreed with it. That's what you want in any judge, but especially someone sitting on the SC.

We know of at least 4 people that have come forward and said it never happened. One of the witnesses that was supposed to be in the room said she does not even know Ford. This is just a democrat tactic to further their Karl Marx agenda.

Dangerous precedent being set. I suppose Kavanaugh's only recourse at this point is to insist that the FBI investigate in a timely manner and get beyond this. The dems are betting that the Reps won't allow an investigation and these allegations will just hang over the entire process. Investigate and be done with it.
