BTW, don't you just love the hypocrisy oozing out the libs.
Supposedly, according to most people, especially libs, women are equal to men. And, for the record, I disagree with that because I think women are superior to men! But, let's stick to the conventional wisdom of women = men. Okay, fine. Well given that to be true, why should we, anyone, treat women differently? In fact, by insisting on treating women differently you are violating the mandate that women = men. And, shame on you for it!
Using this Kavanaugh thingy as an example, we have an allegation that "something happened" at a party long ago. Now, let's flip this. Say there was a woman nominated for the SC and some dude comes along and says, she sexually assaulted me 36 years ago!!! What would most people say? Be honest, what would your reaction be?

You are supposedly an attorney... when did our justice system flip to guilty unless proved innocent? What do these women have to gain? Power within the progressive movements and democratic parties, Jones was already a big supporter and contributor. They get to delay the nomination or even have it taken away in hopes that the Democrats retake the Senate in November where they can block any Trump appointee. That's the end game and everyone knows it. To say otherwise is being dishonest. The real fear is that the Supreme Court will shift back to conservative leaning and that is the democrats last stand and they will fight until the bitter end.

She knows that Kavanaugh is a conservative in his interpretation of the constitution and she will try anything to stop him and she knows the democrats will help her. Well, the Anita Hill episode provides a preview of how this plays out. I can’t blame her for wanting to be able to offer corroborating evidence given that the Republicans won’t to make sure this is just a “he says, she says” thing. They won’t even call Judge to testify. Why is that? It is because he is quite the shady character and won’t make their nominee look good.
This isn’t a criminal trial. They are vetting someone for an important job. Innocent until proven guilty is not the standard here.
Didn’t Judge sign a sworn statement that he knew nothing about the allegations? Why should Republicans call him?
