It must not have happened then. Rush or Hannity must have been reporting it.
With a story as thin and easy to contradict as hers, even the most unskilled fact checker probably would have recognized the lack of credibility to the story. The only reason any would have had to report on it was to try to use the false claim to diminish the credibility of the others.
I'll look later, but I think I can find where CNN and the other socialist networks reported it even after the times would not.

NBC reported it and did an half ass attempt to investigate. They could not reach any of the sources cited, but reported the story anyway.
I don’t follow that outlet, but I am not seeing any original reporting using google.
I didn't read the article. Are they saying THAT was the reason they lost? I think it helped seal the deal, but those Dems lost in Red States. Shouldn't have been that big of a surprise.
Whatever the reasons, we held the Senate and now it is time to ram home ALL those judgeships still pending. As Grassley said, there is no Senate rule that says hearings have to be held. I say eff the Dems! Trump should nominate every ultra-Conservative judge he can find, and the Senate vote on 'em. Yeah, the vote will be mostly down party lines...no surprise there....just do it. And then...Praise the LORD! that old gal Ruthie, and the other 80+ Justice retire, and Trump gets TWO more SC appointees. Would make it 7-2 in our favor. And, appoint YOUNG justices! As young as possible.

Now, don't get your panties in a wad. Not wishing any harm on Ruthie. I hope she lives to be 100+....but she needs to retire, and now! RETIRE Ruth, enjoy the rest of your life in the company of family and friends. You've earned the right to enjoy some retirement.

Can you imagine the hullabaloo that would ensue if Ginsburb did actually retire at this time? I seriously think it could get so bad that actual fighting between leftist socialists and freedom fighting patriots would begin in the streets.
Well...if Ruthie retires...then Trump should nominate what's his name....the guy obummer nominated when a lame duck. I checked that guy's judicial record, some of his opinions and an article he wrote. Yeah, he's a little left of center on some issues, but MOST of his judicial philosophy mirrors Kavanaugh's. They are really not too different. And! imagine what it would do the Dems!! They would either have to say, great pick! and go along, or, fight against the very nominee they advocated for.
I think they would choose the latter. Why? well for one thing this guy is NOT as left-leaning as Ginsburg, but more importantly to them, he would no longer be an obummer appointee, but a Trump guy!

As I said, some of his rulings on the appeals' court have pleased libs, and some of his rulings have pleased conservatives. After browsing thru a summary of his biggest rulings, I find some applauded by the left, I agree with. Not that I necessarily agree with the substance of the matter, but I agree with the court there was a better way, a legal way, to address the issue. That is EXACTLY what we want in a judge. Do NOT legislate from the bench. Send it back to the principles and tell 'em, if you want that law changed, take it up with Congress or your state legislature.
Now, since Garland is not as liberal as Ginsburg, I can see some angst from the left on his nomination. Which is exactly why Trump should do it!
I disagree. The Republicans will have a 53-47 majority, which means they can lose 3 Republican votes and STILL seat a conservative justice. We must seize the moment! We may never have an opportunity like this again.
