Let’s get this straight. A woman from almost 40 years ago claims that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh groped her at a high school party in 1982. She made no complaints about it at the time, not even to any close friends or to her parents, and then waited 36 years to say something. No rape. No intercourse. Teenagers. The accuser is from California, a Feinstein supporter. Raised in Maryland. California and Maryland, along with Massachusetts, are the most liberal states. Democrats.

She cannot remember when it happened or where it happened. She cannot remember who was at the party except for Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge, who says it never happened. Kavanaugh says it never happened. The accuser cannot remember how she got to the party or with whom, or how she got home or with whom. No one vouches for her story. Was she drinking? Using drugs? Did the party ever really happen? So what was she doing at such a sordid party? Why did she go into a bedroom with two drunk teenage boys? And why did she wait until now to sound the alarm about it?

She gave her letter to Feinstein almost two months ago. So why did Feinstein wait until now to reveal it – just days before a Senate vote? Why didn’t Feinstein mention it at the confirmation hearing so Kavanaugh could address it? What investigation has the FBI done in those two months?

The Democratic playbook (straight from Saul Alinsky): Demonize. Delay. Obstruct. And lie if necessary. The end justifies the means.

So is this supposed to be enough to stop the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh? It is if you didn’t support him already – as with Sens. Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, Democrats and lots of anti-Trumpers. This now is their excuse. But what about those 65 women from that same high school who signed a letter stating that Kavanaugh was a complete gentleman? That’s 65 to one.

Doubtful. Not sure there is anything that warrants an investigation.

Also not sure if this is accurate, but I heard that this allegation was actually turned over to the FBI well before it was released and the FBI actually had it while they were doing his background check.

For the bolded part I believe she said she was going to the bathroom when they pushed/pulled her into the bedroom.

Maybe I need to revisit Guislapps comment about her being brave. This is the kind of stuff that gets dug up if you come forward against one political party or the other.

There is no rush. from what I have read it is customary to allow a week notice in these situations. Despite what some have said, she doesn’t need any prep time to answer them honestly. “Did you support Hillary? Have you donated to Democrat causes in the past? Do you actually remember anything from the day of the alleged event? Do you know of any other credible witnesses?”

The rush is no secret...it’s the mid-terms. I’m not sold on the blue-wave, but the dem tactic on Kavanaugh is delay delay delay...by any means necessary.

after taking a while to think it through, i have come to a conclusion: if the accusation had even a grain of truth to it, kavanaugh's best move would be to go ahead and give his side of the story. we're talking about a sensationalized memory of something that happened between drunk teenagers. he could claim that she made a pass at him, and then made up the story to save face with her friends when he rejected her. the fact that he is claiming no knowledge of the event tells me he is most likely telling the truth.

furthermore, it is obvious that this was not brought up because anyone thinks the accusation is credible. it was brought out when it was for the specific purpose of delaying the confirmation and nothing more. if it were credible, they would have brought it forward as soon as they knew about it. nobody even seems to be trying very hard to pretend otherwise. based on this alone, i think they should move forward with the confirmation. any democrat with a conscience should vote in favor of speedy confirmation here, but we know that won't happen, and there is enough media pressure to make republicans worry about it too.
