saturday's look is the best-looking college football uniforms in existence. i'm glad the white T is back, and i like the triple stripe (i think we had something similar in the 80's?)

Blue pants, blue jersey, red helmet is my favorite look but now that the "T" on the red helmets has been fixed I don't think we have a bad combination. I guess white pants and jerseys with red helmets would be last place for me, but even that's not that bad.

I know there is something to be said for having a classic, easily recognized look but I really think that cycling through the combos we have on hand now works fine. We'll all have our favorites and least favorites but we're going to look good every week (now hopefully we also play well every week).

Correct. I was referring to the 80s. The helmets were without stripes through the 70s. They first appeared in 1983 and stayed through the 1988 season. The helmets were without stripes from 1989 through 2006. The single stripe came in with Dooley in 2007.

A.L Williams first brought the double stripes in. Coach Peace did away with them, and Dooley brought a single stripe back.

I suppose they could remove the ugly La-State-T-Ech logo and replace it with the beautiful "plain" State-T logo, that would certainly be an improvement (anywhere).

I'm happy with this improvement (even if it is for football's red helmets only). Everything else is icing.
