Regardless of what happens in Auburn this weekend, we have to be very excited with the game against LSU. We are sandwiched between Auburn and Ole Miss on the Tigers' schedule. Whether we deserve it or not, we will not get the respect we deserve, and LSU will be focused on Auburn and Ole Miss. If LSU beats Auburn, they will definitely overlook us and on to Ole Miss. IF they lose to Auburn, they will be down headed into our matchup. Also, this year's Tech team is EASILY the best in state team they have faced in the modern era and one of the best G5 teams to come to Tiger Stadium in quite some time. I just don't think we could ask for better timing if you look at this year's team, LSU's team, and the outside circumstances, compared to years passed.

Their offense isn’t the concern. If our offense can’t move the ball against their defense, which will be a tall order, then we will have to depend on our ST to bail us out. That alone should be cause for concern. We can’t be having any shanked punts or any other ST SNAFU’s if we hope to stand a chance against them.

Holtz hasn't performed too well after a bye week. But, this being LSU, our "Super Bowl" as some maintain, maybe the team will shake off the layoff and come out ready to play.
