I believe the point-spread would be drastically different if everyone could go ahead and accept how weak Arkansas actually is this season. It sometime seems that matchups get billed as this big conference against that little conference - when NTS beat AR, they beat a weak team that just happens to be in a big conference, they didn’t beat the typical SEC team. This will be a great road win to get our 2018 conference play underway.
Hope our DL and DBs are ready for tomorrow night's track meet. It's gonna be a high scoring game- about 45 - 42. Just don't know who will have the 45.

Anyway, the 2nd half of the LSU game gave me some hope with this year team. Our Oline is pretty damn good - we ran the ball against LSU dline well. We didn’t get outmanned against LSU neither offensively nor defensively.

Watched Tulane upset Memphis 40-24. Game was NOT that close. Tulane dominated start to finish. On offense Tulane ran the ball, had over 300 yards rushing for the game. But it was their defense that was the story. Memphis came in avg 40 pts and nearly 600 yds of offense per game. That mostly thanks to their athletic QB using the RPO. Tulane's DC decided to roll the dice and ATTACK! They blitzed every play. Different blitzes, coming from different directions, disguised, and well executed. Results: early in the 4th qtr it stood this way -- Tulane 40 Memphis 13; Tulane had EIGHT sacks! That's 8. Memphis had barely 200 yds of offense.
Tulane's DC said he thought if they played straight up, just tried to defend, i.e. react, Memphis would have their way on offense. So he gambled installing a complex blitz package. That is coaching. It's what coordinators get paid to do.
Even if it sucks, cherish that time. It doesn’t last nearly as long as it feels.
Amen. seems like yesterday I was getting mine out of his crib for a 4 am feeding and today I was moving him into Graham.
Hah! then grandkids come! Have one of granddaughters, 3, and a grandson, 6 months, at the house now. My daughter works weekends...we get to babysit.
