I was disappointed in the first half play and thought there was no chance we would win after trading field goals for TDs. I'm happy it came out with the Dawgs on top. That was a big win. UNT is a very solid team and it will not surprise me they win out. Lots of work to go to fight for a conference championship.
I agree. If Smith can play remainder of games we may run the table. I thought our run defense was better than theirs. I thought our run offense was better than theirs.
I thought our coach was better than theirs. We made a few more plays.
Tech will likely play for a conference championship & go bowling
UAB is not a trap game...
listening to the post game show. OMG! If the Dawgs aren't ready tomorrow to tear the Blazers a new one, then no one can motivate 'em.
The key take away for me is that Vegas doesn't actually know. 7 point losers my butt. The Bein broadcasters all picked NT too. Big win for the good guys!
Man, you guys are so depressing. Fans of any other team would be glad to go on the road as underdogs and win a game on a blocked FG.
As far as the conference games go we absolutely better run the table. Our remaining conference schedule is laughable. We only play one team with a winning record and that's UAB next week at home! We do not have to play any of the good teams in the east (Marshall, FIU or MTSU).
I had no faith in this team until tonight. I now believe this is our season for double digit wins and possibly the long awaited conference championship. The only game we might be underdogs is the Mississippi State game. That game doesn't matter, except to possibly get a little payback for the embarrassment we experienced in Ruston last year. Don't look now, but Mississippi State will likely be enjoying a 5 game losing streak when we roll into Starkville.
We totally crashed their big weekend party.
