    Similarities?

Do the Rams have a unit they call "offense?" Yes, they do.

Do the Cowboys have a unit they call "offense?" Yes, they do.

    The similarities end there.

The boys are offensive not an offense. Boy Jimmy Johnson must laugh everyday!

I was thinking, yep, they line up 11 guys just like the Rams. What else you got Jerry?

They both use 5 Linemen, a QB, and a star RB.

Reminds me of an episode when Vince Lombardi was miffed with the way the Packers had been playing, and he calls all the players together at the start of a practice.

Lombardi: We're going back to basics. [he holds a ball]. Gentlemen, this is a football...

Max MaGee: Coach! can you take it a little slower?

What?!?! My fantasy app is playing tricks on me. Surely Kellan Cole is the Cole who is good for 2 TD's not Cole Beasly .. right?!?!? I may have to go back and watch the compressed game on that one.

Maybe Jones was onto something ... Cowboys dropped a 40 burger today ... and against the vaunted Jags defense no-less. Looks like nobody wants the NFC East either. Playoffs?!?!?

They might go 8-8 as they are currently enjoying the streak of winning one and then losing one so far. So....they will lose to Washington next week. Of course they will break that win 1 and lose 1 string when the play the Saints for a loss.

The NFC East is up for grabs. If the Cowboys have found an offense, together with their good defense, then yeah, they could win the East.

I dunno. Provided not a lot has changed the Pokes should again have a good defense and Prescott, while not a true championship-caliber QB, is good enough, especially with the likes of Cooper and Elliot, to make a run at the NFC East title again. And once in the playoffs, funny things can happen.

Hopefully, that funny thing will be them getting curb stomped in NOLA!

Assuming Ezekiel Elliott ends his holdout, this just won't happen. The 2019 Cowboys are much better and deeper across the board than any Cowboys team in at least a decade. Expectations are high this year for the Cowboys because, 1) their receiving corp and their RB's have developed into very good players, and 2) they finally have great roster depth. Most media members agree that this Cowboy team is much better suited to survive losing 2 or 3 starers to an injury bug this year, for up to 3 or 4 weeks at a time. The talent level is just that high this year. You ladies down in sin city better look out!!

Re: Jerry Jones sees similarities of Cowboys’, Rams’ offenses

I'm thinking the Saints will have a 10-6/11-5 type season, probably slip into the playoffs as a wildcard team, or maybe as champ of a weak NFC South. I don't think the Dirty Birds/Dirty Kats will implode like they did last year and just hand the division to the Saints. But, no one in the division is a world beater, considered a heavy favorite to win the NFC...with good reason.
