Most media members agree that this Cowboy team is much better suited to survive losing 2 or 3 starers to an injury bug this year, for up to 3 or 4 weeks at a time. The talent level is just that high this year. You ladies down in sin city better look out!!
I agree with some of your post HD. I just don't think that JJ and J.Garrett are the right combo to get it done.

Here's who should be in the SB this year and really should have been last year as well.

Brian Baldinger: Saints over Chiefs. The Saints are coming off not one but TWO soul-crushing postseason defeats. But for a team that has continued to get better and better, the third time is a charm.

Jeremy Bergman: Saints over Patriots. The Quadragenarian Quarrel comes one year late and right on time. Tom Brady outgains Drew Brees, but Alvin Kamara's three scores are enough to lead New Orleans to its second South Beach Super Bowl title in just over a decade.
Ali Bhanpuri: Saints over Chiefs. One day after capturing the league MVP, which has eluded him for nearly two decades, Drew Brees leads the Saints to their second ever Lombardi Trophy. He spends the rest of his days noshing on 19 years' worth of beignets and chicken fried steak po' boys.
Jeffri Chadiha: Saints over Patriots. New Orleans controls the game with Alvin Kamara dominating the Patriots' defense. He finishes with 200 total yards and becomes the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis.
DeAngelo Hall: Saints over Chiefs. Andy Reid will have to wait another year. Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas and the Saints' defense help Drew Brees ride off into the sunset with a second Lombardi Trophy.
Shaun O'Hara: Saints over Chiefs. This is a game full of offensive superstars, and it doesn't disappoint. Sean Payton's trickery gives the Saints the edge and the Lombardi.
Kevin Patra: Saints over Chiefs. The Saints' defense, led by Cameron Jordan, puts the clamps on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' high-wire offense, allowing Drew Brees to hoist his second Lombardi Trophy.
    Kansas City Chiefs (5 votes)

Judy Battista: Chiefs over Eagles. In a showdown of the league's premier young quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes outguns Carson Wentz, and Andy Reid finally gets his Super Bowl.
Dan Hanzus: Chiefs over Eagles. The Eagles waited 52 years before they finally broke through for their first Super Bowl win. They'll get close to claiming their second title in three years, but it will be Patrick Mahomes hoisting the Chiefs' first Lombardi Trophy in half a century.

Steve Mariucci: Chiefs over Saints.Fifteen years since his last Super Bowlappearance, Andy Reid doesn't let this one slip away. His preparation and superb game plan pay off against the Saints, as his offense -- with Patrick Mahomes leading the way -- puts on one of the best performances ever seen on the big stage.

Sorry 'Aints fans, but Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys have reached an agreement on a new 6-yr, $90M contract extension. A very strong Cowboys team just got much stronger. This is about to be crazy fun!

Re: Jerry Jones sees similarities of Cowboys’, Rams’ offenses

I am surprised how inept the Cowboys have looked...so far. Also surprised by the Rams' struggles. Look, I admit, I am pleased both are struggling. But, I also know it's a LONG season and things can change again.

The Cowboys have a great LB core. I like those guys, Smith, Lee, and that Boazy dude Vandergesh (sp?) Very active, and I would take all three on my team any day. Cooper and Zeke are as good as it gets at those positions. Prescott? He's okay. Has talent. He's certainly good enough to pilot a strong team to the Super Bowl. Dallas is in a weak division so they have ample opportunity to get their act together, make the playoffs, and then make a run. The Rams are in a much tougher division, probably the best in the NFL, so their road will be tougher.

As for the Saints, I never expected much from them this year. Back in August I was thinking 11-5 at best, probably a #3 or 4 seed. Then we lost Brees, and I was like, oh no! okay 8-8 at best. But wins over the Seasickhawks, on the road!, and then Dallas and Tampa Bay, who rocked the Rams, and I am just sitting back enjoying this ride. The defense has stepped up, big time. And, you all know how I feel about defense...

    It's a looooooong season.

    Saints 13 Jags 6

Making this harder than it has to be. Putting too much pressure on defense not to have a bad game or even just screw up a play or two. Bridgewater is no "rock star" QB, but he is better than Payton is letting him be. Turn him lose more. The Saints have good, experienced WRs and they will make plays, and Bridgewater is certainly good enough to make good throws. Also, call some run plays for him. TOO CONSERVATIVE. Gonna cost the Saints a win before too long.

Worried about the Bears defense. Jags played great D and we squeaked out the win, albeit on the road(but in a half empty stadium.

100% agreement. And Bridgewater had a poor game IMHO. That said SP needs to let him air it out downfield. Likewise, TB can't hold the ball so freaking long.

Yep, all I see are a bunch of losers and spoiled brats.
The players quit last night against the Bears on national TV.

    Dallas still hasn't beaten a winning team all year and I don't think they can or will. To quote CBS Sports;

"Dallas has been outscored 70-48 during its three-game losing streak, losing to teams with a combined record of 26-11. The Cowboys are 0-6 against teams that have a winning record and the combined record of teams they beat is 18-53-1.
Dallas has not proven through 13 games it is a good football team, nor has it shown any signs of turning it around. "

There is some time to regroup but not much. It would actually be best for you D fans if they collapsed even more if possible.

Believe it or not I feel for you....not the cowgirls organization but you guys. I honestly do. We've been there before until Tom Benson bought the team from that idiot and enabled Texan John Mecom who was spoiled by his rich daddy.

The Cowboys' charter plane was grounded, not because it couldn't take off, but because it couldn't make a "touch down." The jokes have been brutal!

But, have heart all you Pokes' fans, it ain't over yet. Dallas will beat the lowly Skins and the Giants are very likely to beat the Eagles. So! the division championship is within reach. An 8-8 division champ! Kind of like those 6-6 bowl participants.

I can't imagine Jason Garrett surviving this season.

Do Poke fans understand that a Jimmy Johnson type coach is a once in a lifetime personality who can handle an owner like JJ? Their real problem has always been in the suites.

Which means nobody has agreed to be JJ’s new HC. What self respecting coach would want the job with Jones calling the shots?
