I know some of you don't care about the polls, but the coaches poll has us with 2 points. I think this is the start to a top 25 ranking if we keep taking take of business and win the games we are supposed to win. I think it is possible for us to win out to the CUSA championship game. Go Dawgs!

Louisiana Tech received 2 votes in the Coaches Poll. Tell that to the guy who thinks we don't capitalize on "big" wins. The best advertisement is the polls. We've been there before and every time, it has helped our program. Keep winning!
One of the negative nellies will probably come along and throw shade on the fact that we got a vote or two. At least that's what happened on the first thread about our getting votes.
We need more votes and I expect they will come after this weekend!!!!

Look at who was receiving votes last week and you will see that UNT got 17 votes. Just saying. Maybe it was due to their win over a down Arkansas team? Keep winning and the votes will come.
Exactly. It doesn't matter who is getting or not getting votes in week 5/6. Week 15 is what matters.
Even that does not count as we saw when we lost under Dykes and lost WAC title -- It only means something to fan base to be ranked-- nowadays its all about the final 4 and national championship. Why spoil something that makes your fan base happy??
Progams like Tech don't get votes for losing so I totally disagree with "doesn't matter" -- its a sign you are winning ...

I think that only applies to NASCAR.
Both Orgeron and and Seth Littrell are voters.
Others are Rice, UAB, FIU, UTEP, and Middle.
This Conference is a dumpster fire that we don't have at least one team getting 6 votes at any one time. Who are the other CUSA coaches voting for? I bet one of our votes is from LSU.
