(CNSNews.com) – Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took to social media on Wednesday to contend that Islam holds the answer to the problems of sexual mistreatment of women in Western societies.
If women were to wear the hijab, he argued, they would be spared such depraved behavior.
Two days earlier, the Iranian regime executed a 24-year-old woman – reportedly a child bride who suffered domestic abuse while still a minor until her husband was killed. She claimed to have confessed to the murder under coercion, telling a judge the killer was in fact her husband’s brother, who she also accused of having raped her several times.
On an official Twitter account, Khamenei wrote, “The disaster of countless sexual assaults on Western women – including incidents leading to #MeToo campaign – and Islam’s proposal to resolve it.”
He then linked a video clip which begins with news footage of some of the many women who have come forward with stories of sexual assault and harassment in workplace environments over the past year.
The slickly-produced video moves to brief excerpts from a speech Khamenei delivered on International Women’s Day last March in which he extolled the virtues of the hijab.
“You might have heard, a few months ago, that a large number of Western female politicians announced one right after another they had been subjected to abuse, harassment or violence at times while they were working in government offices,” he said, according to the subtitles.
“By introducing hijab, Islam has shut the door on a path that would pull women towards such deviation.”
The video ends with images of Iranian women wearing the Islamic head covering, and another Khamenei quote: “Hijab gives women freedom and identity.”

Nevertheless, these type accusations are becoming tiresome. In Kavanaugh's case, why wasn't it important to Ms Ford 36 years ago? Makes no sense. She was coerced into making these groundless accusations.

Stupid argument. Why don’t you go read a book on why victims of sexual assault frequently don’t report it. And then review the criticism that Ford got for sending a letter to Feinstein hoping to remain anonymous. Once you educate yourself on the subject come back and tell us.

The fact that Ms Ford has been a liberal activist for years provides motive on her part to have produced groundless accusations against a conservative SCOTUS nominee. Anyone who watched her interview should be able to see that she is not a mentally stable individual. You can not possibly believe that this woman was not coerced into making the untrue allegations that she made against Judge Kavanaugh.

You were 100% willing to believe the FBI when the den of liars that ran it under the Obama administration made unfounded accusations against President Trump, yet you don't accept the findings of the current FBI in its investigation in the Ford matter. Doesn't the fact that not a single piece of evidence that she produced was able to be corroborated by anyone, including the FBI, disqualify her claims? Is it enough to you that she simply made the accusation? If I accuse you of charging me excessive legal fees, shouldn't I have to be able to provide PROOF AND EVIDENCE that you did before you're disbarred?

Only a silly moron can not see that Ford was politically motivated to come forward when she did. For 36 years....and I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for the moment...she sat on this event. She could have reported it when she was 15, but she didn't. She could have some years later, say when she was an adult at 21, but she didn't. Nope! she waited until she had an opportunity to deliver a political hit job, 36 years later. Again, giving her the benefit of the doubt and allowing that it is all true, she was NEVER motivated to come forward until it was political!

Again, not that something happened, or didn't happen, but precisely why she came forward now. Are you asking how do you know if Kavanaugh is lying? If so, you start by getting him to actually answer the questions.
