I like Dr. Guice. Always have. I think he's a real good man. But Dr. Guice should have woken up this morning with legitimate concerns about the state of our entire athletic program. But especially the one that pays the bills: Football. Holtz is killing the energy in the stadium, and I can't imagine that Dr. Guice isn't already hearing from local merchants about the poor attendance.

Folks, LA Tech CAN'T SCORE. That's why the games are boring. With J'Mar at QB, we don't have anyone that can score TD's. Against FBS competition, J'Mar has thrown 7 TD passes and 5 INT's. He's averaging 219 yds per game in the air.

This season, LA Tech has averaged a whopping (said in jest) 21.75 pts per game against its 4 FBS competitors. That lack of point production will get you beat almost every week in FBS college football.

Above is another post from 2 years ago. And again, NOTHING has changed. LA Tech STILL can't score, as exemplified by yesterday's 38-3 beatdown by Georgia Southern.

Yet, in 2016, we had a near record-setting QB and an offense that could score TDs and did so with regularity. What we lacked was a good defense, and thus the 9-5 record. But offense was not the problem. That was the same predictable offense we run now, very little to nothing has changed in the scheme. Difference was Higgins to Henderson and Taylor. We actually had a QB and two WRs who knew how to get open and then play pitch and catch. So, when HD says "NOTHING has changed," he's 100% dead on. The difference is the quality of the players.

We don't employ a TE. There are none on the roster and really no one who could be converted, very easily, into one. I would like to see a complete overhaul of our predictable, lethargic offense.
