Well...this was worth the price of admission!
Y'all know the team is gonna have another WTF game and a few above average games the rest of the way out...it's the Holtz way.
Settle in gents...this is who we are.

Is it time for another video clip of Oddball lecturing Moriarty on "negative waves?" Perk up, it's game day, a new day, the Dawgs will win today! We will beat UTSA! Yay!
Interesting comments and predictions on the UTSA board. Out of about 40 posts on their prediction thread, and another one, it's running 27 picks for Tech to 13 for their own team. But, on another thread, their self-proclaimed expert on Vegas lines (seems every board has one of those) cites past inexplicable results involving UTSA and says take UTSA +13, because it is likely neither team will even reach 13 pts. He's predicting a 9-7 win for UTSA. Another poster chimed in with, make that 9-3, or 9-6, no way Tech scores a TD with their lousy offense.
After last week it's hard to argue with this prediction. But, that was last week, different teams and circumstance. Dawgs will win this one, 33-17.
Anybody that can't see that Holtz has lost this team is blind. Every player and assistant coach on the team can see that Holtz is simply going through the motions. His heart just isn't into coaching anymore, and I totally understand that. I can't blame him for cashing the checks as long as he can. Apathy sets in on almost everybody at some point (President Trump being the most notable exception). I know several people in their 50's and early 60's suffering from the same thing.
This being said, UTSA will destroy Tech today. This Tech team has quit. Who can blame them.
The Dogs offense is bad. But UTSA's offense is even worse. I predict the Dogs win an ugly one today, 23-17.
HD is going with the high water mark of 23. That's what the offense can produce when they enjoy (for them) a good day vs. an FBS opponent. HD must be counting on a good performance from the O and the D not contributing a score.
