You likely heard about UTSA's fake cannon. It was on wooden wheels and castors below. Anyway, note that there is a box in front of the "cannon". They would detonate the flash smoke from the box each time the "cannon" was fired.
LMAO!!!!!!!!! That soooo looks like something UL-Laugh would do.
Ready, aim, flash-smoke sparklers!!!! Maybe a Roadrunnner genie will magically appear from the smoke next time?
UTSA fans posting how embarrassing the fake cannon is. And then one posted, "It's as real as our offense." Another followed-up, "That's true."
One poster called out Holtz for again scoring late when all Tech had to do was take a knee. But another posted, he'll keep doing that because he knows we'll never be in a position to pay him back.

The cannon box is hilarious but y'all know full well this is something we'd do.

I believe "our" cannon belonged to the Military Museum. They supplied the crew. I don't know what happened to it. I never liked the noisy thing and I'm an old artilleryman. Maybe the wadding hit the stands or something. I don't remember.
"Tech's" cannon is/was the property of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. That cannon is real, and can do significant damage if loaded with ammo, and aimed at a target. It used to be permanently situated on the hill in front of the KA House. It used to be chained to the flagpole in their front yard. The KA's used to have a small team of "trained" KA's that transported the cannon to various events, and were responsible for firing it. I don't know if any of this has changed in the last 10 years or so.
They offered for us to come and take it, and though it would have been easy... none of us wanted it, so we left it.
