I think they will do away with the UTSA cannon. It looks bad. They are playing in a facility that received a recent renovation including a brand new expensive sound system and video board. Why need a fake cannon?

Road Runners and Cannons don't go together, but San Antonio and Cannons do go together. However, it is no longer PC to remember the Alamo.
As I sat at the game right there in goal line seats, I was getting ready to leave when Skippy called a running play vs. the two kneel downs. I was disappointed, but only that it delayed my departure by fifteen minutes. That is now twice that his team scored a late meaningless touchdown this year.
As some one reminded us earlier it's the job of the other team to stop us. This was a simple dive play, not some razzle dazzle trick play. Still it was very unlike Skip. Maybe he's turning over a new leaf.
I was at Florida game years ago and final play of game-- score like 70 zip and they threw 50 plus td pass- nobody really cared .
have read that a lot of athletes consider it an insult to kneel at end of game and most coaches say "we play 60 minutes" - I prefer the kneel mostly because of freak injury possibility but no big deal
I think utsa should do their cannon with a hologram. Get Disney to produce it in period costumes and play it when appropriate. Like missed field goals
I heard they are planning to put Lady of the Mist on a flat bed trailer for games and whenever we score, they will make one full lap around the field.
